As a Field Application Engineer (FAE) for automotive parts, you will be responsible for the following tasks.
*This position is an overseas assignment. After being hired in Japan, you will be assigned to our US office once preparations for overseas assignment are complete.
■Specific Job Responsibilities
<Main Responsibilities>
・Technical support for the design and development departments of automotive Tier 1 customers
・Identifying technical challenges at the customer design stage and proposing technical solutions in collaboration with internal technical departments
・Initiating customer projects internally
・New business and customer development
<Sub-Responsibilities>
・Supporting mass production launch in collaboration with technology, quality, and manufacturing departments
*Business trips (approximately once every two months), mainly to the Detroit area

■MUST Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering field (mechanical, electrical, etc.), or equivalent technical understanding
- English communication skills (目安: TOEIC 700 or higher)
- Basic MS-Office skills
■WANT Requirements
- Knowledge of connectors, resin molded products, metal parts, or electronic components
- Practical experience in the automotive parts industry
- Practical experience with 3D-CAD (Solidworks)

Overtime pay: Fully paid
Commuting allowance: Fully paid (for public transport/distances of 2km or more)
Location allowance: 20,000 yen
Family allowance: 8,000 yen for spouse, 3,000 yen for child
Housing allowance: 10,000 yen (for the head of household as registered on the resident register)
Social insurance: No additional information
Retirement allowance system: Applicable to employees with 3 or more years of service
Re-employment system: Available (up to age 65; retirement age: 60)
Complete two-day weekend (Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays)
