Tesla is seeking an HR Operations (Sr.) Specialist to join our growing HR Operations team. This role will focus on managing the full employee lifecycle, covering core operational areas including onboarding, internal movements, offboarding, attendance and leave management etc. With excellent organizational skills, process management experience, and strong attention to details, you will directly contribute to a best-in-class employee experience at every key HR touchpoint, ensuring all people processes are compliant and efficiently executed. What You'll Do

● End-to-End Employee Lifecycle Process Management: Own and manage the full lifecycle of employee movements, including onboarding, internal transfers/promotions and offboarding, ensuring all steps are executed accurately, compliantly, and with a seamless employee experience.

● Attendance & Leave Management: Administer and maintain the company's attendance policies on a day-to-day basis; process all types of leave requests (annual leave, sick leave, maternity/paternity leave, personal leave, etc.); ensure accuracy and compliance of attendance data; and respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner.

● Process Optimization & Standardization: Review and continuously improve operational procedures and policy documentation related to employee lifecycle and attendance/leave management; drive process standardization to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual errors.

● Employee Records & Data Management: Maintain and archive employee files, labor contracts, and personnel change documents accurately; ensure timely updates and data integrity within HR systems.

● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business units, Compensation & Benefits, Recruiting, HRBP, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure smooth handoffs across people processes and timely resolution of cross-functional HR matters.

● Compliance & Policy Execution: Ensure all HR operations are in full compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and internal company policies; conduct regular compliance checks to identify and mitigate potential risks.

● Employee Experience Enhancement: Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries; provide professional, efficient, and empathetic service; proactively collect employee feedback and continuously improve the experience at critical HR touchpoints.

● Data Analysis & Reporting: Regularly consolidate and analyze data on attendance, leave, and workforce movements; produce management reports to support HR leadership and business decision-making.
What You'll Bring

● Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.

● 5+ years of HR Operations experience, with solid hands-on expertise in employee lifecycle process management and attendance & leave administration.

● Strong knowledge of domestic (and APAC) labor laws and regulations, with a keen compliance mindset and the ability to identify and mitigate HR-related risks.

● Proficiency in HR information systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), with the ability to independently manage data entry, maintenance, and reporting.

● Strong data processing and analytical skills; proficient in Excel and other tools for attendance data reconciliation and report generation.

● Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to effectively handle employee inquiries and cross-functional collaboration; strong service orientation.

● High sense of responsibility and attention to detail; able to maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced, high-demand work environment.

● Fluent in Japanese and English (spoken and written); proficiency in Chinese is a plus.

● Prior experience in a multinational corporation or large enterprise HR Operations environment is highly desirable.
