This recruitment is for an AI Engineer to join the ongoing AI development project. The role involves managing everything from technical verification of business ideas to PoC (Proof of Concept). As the development structure in other departments has stabilized, the company plans to place a stronger focus on research fields moving forward.
【Responsibilities】
・AI-related Design, Development, Testing, and Operation using proprietary service data.
・Construction of Proprietary Models through the integration and utilization of external AI technologies.
・Integration Development with In-house Applications and functional development of those applications.
・Program Optimization and Improvement (Speed Optimization) through load reduction and other techniques.
・Documentation of Deliverables and internal knowledge sharing.
・Construction of Data Pipelines for the utilization of proprietary service data.

【Academic Background】
・Master’s degree or higher in a science or engineering field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, mechanical engineering, etc.)
・Research experience at the graduate level (field of study is not restricted)
【Technical Skills】
・Programming experience (Python preferred, but R, C++, MATLAB, etc. are also acceptable)
・Basic knowledge of mathematics, including statistics, linear algebra, and calculus
・Ability to read and understand research papers (in English)
【Mindset/Attitude】
・Strong motivation to learn about AI and machine learning technologies
・Ability to independently acquire new technologies and tools
・Business communication skills in Japanese

・Ph.D. holder or expected to receive a Ph.D.
・Research experience in AI, machine learning, or natural language processing

・Experience using machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
