Backend Engineer
Position Details
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Backend Engineer to join our team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Java-based microservices architecture. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure our applications are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
- Design architecture according to requirements.
- Develop and maintain microservices and APIs.
- Take responsibility for code quality, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, bug-fixing, and improving existing software as needed.
- Deliver secure, reusable, and maintainable high-quality code based on specifications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver features with quality and speed.
- Work with Product Managers and Designers to ensure excellent UI/UX.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Computer Science or in related fields, or equivalent education and experience (4 years+).
- Experience in Java development (5 years+).
- Experience in Linux operating system and command line tools. (5 years+).
- Experience in Restful-API development. (3 years+).
- Experience in React(redux) development. (2 years+).
- Experience with version control tools such as Git. (5 years+).
- Experience in CI/CD automation of service delivery (Jenkins/Ansible, etc.). (3 years+).
- Experience in Docker container technology (2 years+).
- Experience in Kubernetes (2 years+).
- Experience in cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, etc. (3 years+).
- Fluent English communication skills and a certain level of Japanese reading and writing skills (JLPT N3+).
